Mere CC secure £10,000 grant!

We are pleased to announce that after some sterling work put in by our committee, we have secured a Sport England grant of £10,000. This money will go towards the purchase of a new ride on pitch roller and a set of covers for the wicket.

These additions will help enhance our playing surface, with the hope that the Mere wicket will become one of the best around...a wicket that other clubs will want to play on and will allow all our players to perform to their very best!

As a club we will still have to find circa £2500 to complete the project so your continued support of any fundraising events will be crucial.

Here's to some great batting and bowling tracks next season!
